More Animals

We took the kiddos to see the animals from safari sanctuary this last weekend. The kids really liked the alligator. They also saw a snake, lemur, and a skunk. Joshua even did his famous sign for alligator while we were there. Each of the kids won an Easter bunny and got their picture taken with Jellybean the Easter bunny.

The ZOO

Thursday was a beautiful day. I decided it was perfect for the zoo. And so did the rest of the 918. It was extremely crowded but we managed to see many animals while we were there. There were baby chimps, lions, elephants, and more. Once we hit the back of the zoo we opted for the train ride back to the front. Needless to say 1 1/2 hours and a train derailment later we finally made it back to the front. Patience was definitely on my side that day. The kids had plenty as they were on the train ready for the ride.

Welcome Arthur

We had a new addition to our family this last week. He is the son of my cousin Kristi and her husband Justin, so I guess that makes him my second cousin. His name is Arthur Malcom. He was born March 20th at 7:07 a.m. weighing in at 8lbs 13 ozs and perfect as his mom puts its. He's super cute with cubby little cheeks.

Roller Derby Girl

Brittany's school has a roller skating program. You pay a nominal fee for renting the equipment for 4 weeks and they teach the kiddos the basics of skating. I was a little apprehensive at first but then gave into the idea. This was there last week so she asked me to come and see how well she skated. Overall she did a great job, its a wonder how she didn't complain of her behind hurting these last couple of weeks. The teacher asked me to skate, I politely declined and said I was there for the photo opt. I think she looks so cute in roller skates. Maybe she will become a roller derby girl!!

The other day we went to breakfast with my dad. He had ridden his Harley and the boys decided to take it for a spin. What's scary is Jeremy looks right at home on the bike.
